In the era of image banks, royalty-free pictures and consumerism, the “Slow Shooting Special Projects” are an attempt to recoup photo reporting methods and approaches extraordinarily effective. These are projects developed over long periods of time and are as independent as possible from commitment constrictions.

Some of these projects have been developed, not always on purpose, over several years, and are just now, thanks to the raw format of the Hasselblad scanner, coming to life and out of the film with surprising results.
Others are currently in progress. They are sort of slow reportage of extra ordinary realities of our times.
One of these projects, Wonderful Mistakes, is the product of pure chance. This however supports my belief that for a photographer is vital to be able to “see” and “choose”.
