Digital Labrador is thrilled to bring Italian photographer Roberto Bigano for a very special workshop on Thursday, April 1st. Roberto is a highly-skilled, versatile and creative photographer unlike any other we know. He will share his remarkable latest works, including his Bugatti vintage car images, his unique techniques for photographing with the Hasselblad, and the use of ALCE, the software he developed to enhance images with local contrast. Every serious photographer needs this powerful tool to work images. Digital Labrador uses it constantly, and you will too once you see the effect.
You don't have to be a pro, or use a Hasselblad to attend this workshop. Roberto is an inspiration for photographers of all levels, especially those who use Photoshop. He will be leading our Italy workshop in November, so this is also a chance to meet him prior to that fantastic shooting

ALCE - A Local Contrast Enhancer for Photoshop | By Davide Barranca
An easy-to-use and powerful Photoshop tool to effectively improve and finely tune the local contrast of an image, by means of a smart algorithm which avoids the clipping issues typical of methods like shadows/highlights. The user interface is simple and clean, with just one slider, allowing the user to customize the effect in a straightforward way.
