Shooting tools used everyday in your profession is definitely an important challenge. Even more when you are talking about a brand like Gitzo, that many of us have grown up with and is a synonym of state of the art tripods. Showing the material and transmitting the esthetics and the function is anything but simple.
The 2008 campaign
Gitzo launched a revolutionary and exclusive tripod, easily portable, made of Carbon and Titanium, Traveller Ocean, is definitely destined to become a trend and an object of desire. In these pictures, I had to show the exclusive features of the material and, at the same time, work on the focus and the dissonance in order to adjust to the recent style choices of corporate communication. It has not been easy, but the results seems significant to me.
In showing the gloss of metal, were essential, once again, the Hasselblad multishot back, that emphasized the materials and the Arri spots, that faithfully followed me in my quest for the lightest shades.
