The drawings of Leonardo da Vinci in high resolution | Portrait of a young girl (1485)

One of Leonardo's most famous drawings, this beautiful and enigmatic piece was probably a study for the famous painting "Virgin of the Rocks" kept at the Louvre Museum in Paris. Exceptionally interesting is the use of the white lead to reproduce the effect of "high lights". This is considered, by the great art historian Bernard Berenson, " the most beautiful drawing in the world"."
