The drawings of Leonardo da Vinci in high resolution | Self Portrait (1515-1516)

Together with the "Homo Vitruviano", the "Self-Portrait" is the most famous of Leonardo's drawings. It depicts the artist at age 63. Never completed it presents a very virtuous, almost photo-like stroke. Its history is very eventful; after disappearing many times, it was sold from a collector to King Carlo Alberto di Savoia, who definitively placed it in the Royal Library of Turin, where it can be found to this day.
