Numbered from I to X, they are named after great Almogaváres, Spanish or Italian in origin, who fought in the wars against the Kings of Aragon or the Turks in defense of Constantinople, finding great fortunes. Roger the Flor, in particular, became a legend, as the hero in many epic sagas. Ramón Muntaner, together with a great warrior was also a great reporter and author of the "Cronica". Roger De Lauria (born in Lauria, Basilicata - Italy) was a great sailor and Admiral.
