After arriving at the Cinzano Estate, they stopped to rest under the bright sun or in the fresh shadow of an old tree. A record long table in the shadow of two rows of cypresses welcomed the pilots, dusty and tired. An extraordinary Brunello di Montalcino fills the glasses and the notes of a banjo, a sax, a trumpet, a trombone and a double-bass fill the air; the dixie music, exhilarating more than the wine, carries us away through time and space.
